Walk for Peace
Inspired by the Walk for Peace that is taking place right now, initiated by Buddhist monks walking from Fort Worth, TX to Washington, DC, we’ve created a Walk for Grants Pass. This event will be non-political and non-religious. There will be no speeches. We want only to walk and contemplate peace, compassion and non-violence in our community and our world.
This event will take place rain or shine. All ages and abilities are welcome. Come any time between 10am and 4pm. Walk around the park, for as short a time or as long a time as you like. Greet other peaceful walkers along the way.
There will be coffee and tea offered, and opportunities to sign a peace flag, and enjoy peaceful conversations.
