Rogue Overland Adventures is the only tour guide service in the Grants Pass area that takes visitors beyond the Rogue River Corridor, to explore the more remote and hidden treasures of our region. We take you beyond the more well-known tourist destinations, into the mountains, canyons, and rivers that make Southern Oregon unique. In addition to remote sightseeing, we also feature themed events, such as wine tours, history tours, gold-mining tours with gold panning demonstrations, cheese and chocolate tasting, agricultural tours, and other explorations of our local communities.
If you're thinking large charter buses and khaki pants, you've probably mixed us up with someone else from one of the big cities, although pressed khakis and Polo shirts are certainly welcome. But they'd probably get wrinkled or dirty on our remote tours. Our guests travel in small groups of a dozen people or fewer. We are happy to stop so that we can show you a local wildflower, or to encourage you to hike a trail to get the area's best vista. During the warmer seasons we're also likely to swing by a local swimming hole where you can play hard or relax hard; your choice.
Our remote sightseeing adventures are varied, from simple van-based tours that incorporate some walking, to more strenuous day hikes into remote terrain.
