SUMMARY:2nd Saturday Non-profit Book Sale
DESCRIPTION:It's 2nd Saturday on July 13th and that means Oregon Books Monthly Non-profit Sale will be taking over their main store parking lot. \n\n\n\nThis Month all profits will be going to Young Willamette Writers and the Pregnancy Care Center. \n\n \n\nYoung Willamette Writers of Southern Oregon is an organization specifically for young writers ages 13-18 who have a passion for writing. These future authors learn from current professionals such as writers and publishers about all aspects of writing from structure and plot to marketing\, editing and finding your reader base. The proceeds of this will help offset the cost of speakers as well as provide scholarships for students to attend the Willamette Writer Conference in Portland this summer. \n\n\n\nPregnancy Care Center is a fully equipped medical facility dedicated to providing informative\, helpful and understanding information and support for those facing unforeseen pregnancy. Their facility in Grants Pass provides free pregnancy testing\, nurse consultations\, limited OB ultrasound (in most cases) and verification of pregnancy that can be used to apply for OHP. Free pregnancy and early parenting support and education classes are offered through their Pathways program and they provide connections to wonderful local physicians and other community resources.\n\n\n\nAs always this book sale will be by donation with proceeds going to support these two great organizations.
