Pepper takes her horses from the Rogue Valley to Seattle for a horseshow that is sure to kickstart her plans for a Western Bed\, Barn and Breakfast. But on the eve of the show somoene is killed. Security is slow to help. Her police partner/boyfriend is busy with another case. When Pepper's daughter doesn't return calls and Pepper herself is threatened. It is time to stick her spurs to sleuthing. \n\n\n\nCarole Beers will be at Oregon Books and Games on Saturday\, June 1st\,2019 from 11:00am-2:00pm.
