DESCRIPTION:Pacific Power's Grants Pass-area residential customers are invited to a free workshop to get on the path to greater energy efficiency and lower electric bills. The event will be held Wednesday\, Sept. 16\, 6 p.m. to 7: 30 p.m.\, at Taprock Event Center - Fir/Cedar Room\, 940 Southeast 7th Street\, in Grants Pass. At the workshop\, hosted by Pacific Power and Energy Trust of Oregon\, customers will:  \n\nHear about Pacific Power's wattsmart  program and no-cost/low- cost ways to save energy.\n\nLearn about the different types of heating and cooling equipment\, which are the most energy efficient and why.\n\nSee a demonstration of a water heater and its components\, and learn how a leaky water heater can be a costly energy waste.\n\nDiscover the difference between incandescent\, CFL and LED lighting and which is most cost- effective while saving you the most money\; ? Learn more about Energy Trust incentives available for residential energy improvements. Refreshments will be served. Seating is limited and pre-registration is required.
