DESCRIPTION:the Jackson County Expo will host the 3rdt annual 4th of July BoomFest thanks to the City of Central Point and the Cow Creek Tribe of the Umpqua Tribe of Indians.\n\n \n\nThis FREE EVENT has been a long-standing tradition for nearly 20 years\, bringing families and communities together to celebrate Independence Day with food\, music\, entertainment and fireworks at night.   \n\n \n\nParking gates at the Expo will open at 5:00pm for folks to come in and socialize.  Entertainment\, food and games will start inside the BiMart Amphitheater 6:00pm and run until the fireworks light up the sky (around 9:40pm).  \n\n \n\n6:15pm Old Time Fiddlers \n\n7:15pm Frankie Hernandez & Friends \n\n8:15pm The Brothers Reid takes the stage in the BiMart Amphitheater until fireworks launch\n\n \n\nNEW: SideWalk Chalk competition 6:00pm-8:00pm (chalk provided)  Register onsite\; draw your best patriotic 10 X 10 space and wait for judging at 8:30pm.  $50 gift card to Family Fun Center for 1st place winner in each division\; $25 gift card to each 2nd place winner.  (age catagories:  12 and under\; 13-17 y/o and 18+)\n\n \n\nFire District 3 will host a public fireworks Launch Zone from 5:30-9:30pm. Beside the Family Fun Center.  That's Right!!  Bring your own (legal) fireworks to light off at the Expo to celebrate.
