DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, October 21\, 1:00pm 4:00pm\n\nAdults\, teens\, and children are invited to preregister to compete in the Readapalooza Community Read-Aloud competition for a chance to win prizes.\n\nChildren in elementary and middle school may read a two-minute passage from a favorite book for a chance to win $500 for their school library sponsored the Grants Pass Friends of the Library along with additional prizes. High school students and adults may read a two-minute passage from a favorite family-appropriate book for the chance to win prizes donated by local businesses.\n\nPre-registration is required to compete in this event. Readers are encouraged to have fun with costumes and props related to their books.\n\nTo sign up as a reader by Saturday\, October 13\, send your name\, age\, and book choice to info@josephinelibrary.org\, call 541-476-0571\, or fill out a registration slip in your school library.
