DESCRIPTION:Santa arrives in downtown Grants Pass with caroling and other family activities and the community Christmas tree lighting.\n\n \nGrants Pass Tallest Christmas Tree Ever!\n\nCome to this year's Annual Holiday Plaza\, Grants Pass Christmas Tree Lighting and Holiday Event   brought to you because of the generosity of AllCare and CareSource sponsored by MRIPA\, Pacific Living Centers\, Umpqua Bank\, Logan Design\, the City of Grants Pass\, and the members of the Grants Pass Towne Center Association.\n\nThis year marks the seventh year of this holiday event with the lighting of a nearly 50 foot yule tree that is donated by Grants Pass resident George Jones (owner of Grants Pass-based Jones Forest Products\, which specializes in harvesting and delivering large fir trees that range in size from 40 to 100 feet tall.)!\n\n\n\nMany people in this community\, especially the businesses of the Towne Center Association\, have come together to not only support this community-focused event   but to make it happen!\n\nThe fun begins at 3:00pm with Umpqua Bank's "Craft for Kids and the tree will be lit up 7:00pm by Santa after he arrives by Fire Engine (barring any Christmas emergencies or local fires!).\n\n\n\nThis year's festivities will include a variety of sing-along Holiday Songs and Christmas carols by the RCC Redwood Chorus and the Great Northwest Youth Choir tand a live reading of " 'Twas the Night Before Christmas". Santa will then be available in the Santa's Workshop for children's visits until about 9:00pm.
