DESCRIPTION:Families in Southern Oregon are invited to Youth Outdoor Day on Saturday\, June 6th from 10:00AM to 3:00PM at the Josephine County Sportsman Association.\n\n\n\nHosted by the Oregon Hunters Association Josephine County Chapter\, this free event gives kids ages 6 to 18 the chance to try hands-on outdoor activities.\n\n\n\nParticipants will rotate through stations where they can shoot archery and air rifles with guidance\, learn to cast a fishing rod\, identify animal tracks\, practice navigation with map and compass\, and hear real wildlife calls in action. Kids can also climb the rock wall\, complete a passport challenge\, enjoy lunch on us\, and enter to win door prizes. Parents are invited to attend a seminar titled "My Kid Wants to Hunt Now What?" offered twice during the day.
