DESCRIPTION:In an effort to increase public awareness and raise funds to put an end to human trafficking\, twelve elite cyclists will participate in "The Freedom Ride 2016"\n\n\n\nThe 1\,500 mile ride will begin in Bend\, OR on September 9th and finish in Newport Beach\, CA on September 25th.\n\n\n\nFreedom Ride 2016 will be welcomed by Rebecca Bender Initiative\, ACT Southern Oregon\, Redemption Ridge\, Oregonians Against Trafficking Humans\, Rotary Action Group Against Child Slavery as well as Youth Ending Slavery - and representatives from a number of local civic groups and organizations.

LOCATION:Tuesday ~ September 13th 4:00pm - The Welcome to Grants Pass celebration will be Hosted by Club NorthWest for refreshments & media coverage of the tour 6:00pm - Dinner will follow at the Taprock Northwest Grill Restaurant. Local anti -trafficking advocates will join the riders and crew to celebrate journey Wednesday ~ September 14th 7:00am - Grants Pass residents will gather after breakfast at the Powerhorn Cafe to send Freedom Ride on the road to their finish in Newport Beach\, CA
