DESCRIPTION:2022 Grants Pass Airport Day is free and open to the public.  Visitors will enjoy an up close and personal look at aviation and its place in our community. \n\n\n\nThere will be free shuttles to take visitors to and from the National Guard Armory located at 666 Brookside Blvd.  Amazing food vendors will tempt you throughout the day. \n\n\n\nPilots with their aircraft will be on hand to answer questions and take photos.  There will be Chinook helicopters\, Medevac operations\, jets\, custom aircraft\, vintage warbird aircraft\, National Guard Humvee and Raven Drone.  Josephine County Veteran's Services will be here with their band\, the DD-214's. Josephine County Search and Rescue will be there with their UAV program with a display and demonstration ....and so much more. \n\n\n\nWho knows what might stop by for a visit.....\n\n\n\nThere will be booths\, static displays\, the Wings and Wheels car show\, fly-bys\, chicken drop (don't worry they are rubber chickens) and much more.  It will be an exciting day full of surprises.
