DESCRIPTION:A public open house will be held July 13th from 4pm-6pm in the City Council Chambers to discuss Council's consideration and adoption of the Grants Pass Urban Renewal Plan.\n\n\n\nThe purpose of an urban renewal plan is to improve specific areas of a city that are poorly developed or underdeveloped.\n\n\n\nUrban renewal plans allow for the use of tax increment financing to fund projects to address these issues.\n\n\n\nThe open house is informational only to share information and answer questions.  No testimony will be taken and no recommendation or decisions will be made at the open house.\n\n\n\nStaff and the City's consultant will be available to answer questions.\n\n\n\nMaterials will be on display to review at your own pace.  There will be no presentation\, so you can come by any time.\n\n\n\nThe public will have two other opportunities to comment on the proposal.
