DESCRIPTION:What you will need to know to select healthcare insurance in 2014. This seminar will cover the basics for small businesses of under 50 fte. Topics will include: ? Overview of healthcare reform in Oregon ? How the PPACA impacts small groups ? Federal subsidies for individual coverage ? Oregon Exchange Registration and library presentation will start at 1:30 p.m.\, with presentation to follow\, 2:00 to 5. Registration fee is $39.00 with part of the proceeds benefitting Josephine Community Libraries. We support our work force! HR credits are pending. He testified before the Oregon State Senate Bio-Ethics committee on health care and participated in working groups that developed Oregon?s legislation. He was appointed to a Steering Committee to request a waiver to expand the private market to lower income Oregonian. He has also presented to Senate and House staffers in Washington D.C.
