Experience A First Friday Collaboration of Art\, Words\, and Music

\n\n[Grants Pass\, Oregon] &mdash\; \;Join us for a special \;First Friday \;gallery event on \;September 5th\,
\n\ncelebrating an inspired collaboration between visual artists from \;Hivve Art Hubb (HAH) \;and
\n\nwriters from the \;Rogue Writer&rsquo\;s Collective (RWC)\, with live acoustic music by \;Brooklyn
\n\nLeamons \;and a literary release party for \;The Rapids \;journal.
\n\n\;
\n\nEarlier this year\, HAH artists were invited to submit art that spoke to the theme \;&ldquo\;The Familiar.&rdquo\;
\n\nWriters from RWC then selected one piece each\, crafting poems or short stories in response to
\n\nthe visual narrative. The result is a layered dialogue between image and word\, exploring
\n\nmemory\, identity\, and the quiet beauty of everyday moments.
\n\n\;
\n\nA selection of the visual and written works will be published in an upcoming issue of \;The
\n\nRapids\, a regional literary journal. The September 5th event will feature a \;reveal of the paired
\n\nworks\, and a \;release party \;for the latest issue of \;The Rapids.
\n\n\;
\n\nAmong the featured artists is \;Michelle McAfee\, a portrait and fine art photographer based in
\n\nWilliams\, Oregon\, and one of HAH&rsquo\;s founding members. Trained in film and darkroom
\n\nphotography\, McAfee&rsquo\;s monochromatic style captures subtle expressions and patterns in people
\n\nand places\, reflecting her deep love of nature\, light\, and mood.
\n\n\;
\n\nThis is more than a gallery show&mdash\;it&rsquo\;s a celebration of creative synergy\, storytelling\, and
\n\ncommunity.

\n\nFree and open to the public. Wine and light snacks provided.
