DESCRIPTION:Keeping Honey Bees Course Meets for 3 consecutive Saturday Mornings Online beginning July 11th\, 2020.\n\n\n\nThis course begins with ethics of beekeeping and life of a beehive.\n\n\n\nOur second class prepares the learner to get equipped for bees by choosing a location\, getting equipment and hiving bees.\n\n\n\nThe final class for this season is about managing a colony of bees.\n\n\n\nText book: Storey's Guide to Keeping Honey Bees 2nd Edition is required. Text can be purchased from Amazon for approximately $15.\n\n\n\nThe class will meet three Saturdays\, July 11\, 18 and 25\, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. online using a Zoom virtual classroom.
