Grants Pass Lemonade Day 2024 on August 2^nd
\nThe Grants Pass &\; Josephine County Chamber of Commerce is bringing Lemonade Day back on August 2^nd! Last year over 300 kids participated! Registration will open May 1st and close June 21st. Register now at https://lemonadeday.org/grants-pass. This is a free program creating our next generation of entrepreneurs.
\nLemonade Day will be Friday\, August 2^nd from 3:00 ? 6:00 p.m. in Grants Pass. Lemonade stands will be placed all over town. These young entrepreneurs will be selling their final product. Prizes will be given for the best product and most creative stand. Participants will also have a chance to be entered in a drawing for a $100 gift card!
\nThroughout the course of the program\, these young entrepreneurs learn how to start\, own and operate their own business- a lemonade stand. They learn business skills\, financial literacy\, goal setting and teamwork. This experience helps spark an explosion of new confidence in their abilities and a new vision of the possibilities for the future. Participants are encouraged to spend some\, save some for the future and share some with a local non-profit of their choice.
\nAs in previous years\, we will be partnering with the Boys &\; Girls Club to host a resource fair. The resource fair will provide helpful tips and booths on topics such as customer service\, budget/financial assistance\, creating a product\, choosing a stand location\, and answering any questions. New this year\, the Grants Pass &\; Josephine County Chamber of Commerce is excited to launch the Lemonade Day App! This educational program will take your child\, step by step\, on a journey to become an entrepreneur. They will learn business skills\, responsibility\, financial literacy\, goal setting\, and teamwork. More importantly they will have fun while doing it!
\nAnyone and everyone can be involved in Lemonade Day! Young entrepreneurs with lemonade stands need mentors\, investors\, business partners\, great locations and customers! Sponsors and volunteers are also needed to make Lemonade Day a success.
