DESCRIPTION:We're excited to share that Main Street Grants Pass will be coordinating this year's Main Street Monster March\, formerly known as the Halloween Safe Walk\, a safe and fun downtown Halloween tradition for families of all ages.\n\nEvent Details\n\n Date: Friday\, October 31\, 2025\n\n Trick-or-Treating: 3:00 5:00 PM\n\n\n\n\n\n Costume Contest Sign-Up: 5:00 5:30 PM\n\n Costume Contest: 5:30 PM\n\n Location: Downtown Grants Pass & the Children's Museum Parking Lot\n\nCostume Contest Details\n\n\n \n All ages welcome! Separate categories for younger kids and teens/adults.\n \n \n Entry Fee: Ages 0 12: $5 | Ages 13+: $10\n \n \n Awards in Each Age Group:\n\n Scariest Costume\n\n Most Creative Costume\n\n Funniest Costume\n\n Best Couple or Group Costume\n\n Best of Show\n \n \n Prizes: Engraved Halloween-themed medals for each category.\n\n Best of Show winners receive a custom Halloween trophy and cash prize:\n\n Ages 0 12: $25\n\n Ages 13+: $50\n \n \n Judges: We're looking for six volunteer judges\, ideally merchants or local creatives with a love for costumes.\n \n\n\nHow It Works\n\n\n \n Families will "march" through downtown\, visiting participating businesses for candy and treats between 3 5 PM.\n \n \n Contestants can sign up between 5:00 5:30 PM at the Children's Museum parking lot\, with the contest starting at 5:30 PM.\n \n \n Merchants simply hand out candy or small giveaways.\n \n \n Main Street will provide printable window signs\, coordinate the event\, and handle all promotion.
