DESCRIPTION:Moai-Community Trail Hikes were inspired by the Blue Zones Project-Grants Pass\; a community initiative to optimize residents' longevity and well-being.\n\n\n\nAsante Rehabilitation Services and Southern Oregon Trail Alliance staff lead community members on a free trail hike and walk. All you need is a good pair of walking shoes\, trekking poles (if you have them) and the free Trailforks smart phone app installed (optional).\n\n\n\nMoai (pronounced mow-eye) means "meeting for a common purpose." I t originated in Okinawa\, Japan\, one of the original Blue Zones areas\, for villagers to support each other in times of need.
