DESCRIPTION:One Eleven Theatre Company is proud to present Lionel Bart's "OLIVER!" The show runs March 28th-April 6th at the Grants Pass Performing Arts Center.\n\n"Oliver!" is a musical based on Charles Dickens' novel "Oliver Twist." It tells the story of an orphaned boy who\, in the pursuit of friendship and a better life\, becomes entangled in a world of theft and mischief\, encountering characters such as the cunning Fagin\, the cheerful Artful Dodger\, and the sinister Bill Sikes. ?Oliver!? is renowned for its memorable songs including "Food\, Glorious Food" and "Consider Yourself\," and it explores themes of poverty\, exploitation\, and the resilience of the human spirit.\n\n ?Oliver!? is sure to entertain young and old alike with its exciting dance numbers\, magical special effects\, and breathtaking set design. Our production features 38 cast members and a 15-piece orchestra\, led by a stellar production team! ?Oliver!? is directed by Sandra Castle\, choreographed by Denise Baker\, and music-directed by Ron Strom\, who will also conduct the onstage orchestra. Ariel Kostrna serves as assistant music director / conductor.\n\nThe show will be performed at the Grants Pass Performing Arts Center and will run for two consecutive weekends\, March 28th - April 6th.
