DESCRIPTION:Please join us Thursday\, September 12\, 2019 at 2:00 pm for the official ribbon cutting ceremony of the newly renovated Pavilion commercial kitchen with an Open House immediately following until 6 pm.\n\n\n\n\n\nPrior to the renovation\, the Pavilion kitchen was designated as a warming kitchen with outdated appliance and a hood that did not meet current codes. Grants received for this project totaled $35\,500 with an addition of 108 volunteer hours\, the Pavilion kitchen has been renovated and is currently rated a commercial kitchen!\n\n\n\nGrants received to make this project possible came from Robert & Frances Chaney Foundation\, The West Family Foundation\, The Arthur R Dubs Foundation\, the Gordon Elwood Foundation\, The Four Way Community Foundation\, The Cow Creek Umpqua Indian Foundation \, the Carpenter Foundation.\n\n\n\nTours\, conversation and history of the Pavilion Commercial Kitchen will be available.\n\n\n\nThe kitchen is now be available to rent for e vents held throughout the year in the Pavilion as well as\n\nindependently to the public who may require a commercial kitchen. In addition\, we now how an adequate kitchen to prepare meals in case of public emergency.\n\n\n\nA heartfelt thank you from all us to everyone who has worked so hard and offered such generous support as we continue to strive to improve our Josephine County Fairgrounds for the next generation.
