SUMMARY:Oregon Caves Community Day and Food Drive
DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Oregon Caves National Monument and Preserves for our annual Community Day and Food Drive!\n\n\n\nWe will be offering free tours from 10:00am until 4:00pm on a first come first served basis. Please bring a suggested donation of a non-perishable food item to be donated to the Doug Hoskins Resource Center in Cave Junction. \n\n\n\nThere will be LIVE MUSIC in the Chateau featuring the sounds of Ghost Bomber and Spirit-Kin starting at 2:30pm! We welcome the community to bring instruments to jam after the performances. \n\n\n\nThe Chateau lobby will be open to the public for one day only for this event! Come catch a last glace before construction begins!\n\n\n\nPack a picnic for this event! We unfortunately do not have available food services.\n\n\n\nActivities throughout the day will include:\n\nThe Cave Crawler Bounce House * Crosscut Demonstrations*\n\nStones and Bones Touch Table * Animal Track Castings * Pioneer Games * Information and Demos from local organizations\n\n\n\n{For their safety\, children must be at least 42inches (107cm) tall to take a tour. The tour route is considered moderately strenuous and can be physically demanding. It requires the ability to walk and stoop through narrow\, twisting passages with ceilings as low as 45 inches (114 cm)\, and the ability to ascend and descend over 500 stair steps\, many of them steep\, uneven and/or without handrails.}
