At 7PM\, Liz Shen (a founding member of AAD) will offer a presentation about the broader dark sky movement and how our local group is hoping to help others learn why and how to preserve our night sky. As the sun sets and the night sky takes over\, Sam Dennis (another founding member of the group) will guide participants in using their binoculars to view interesting celestial features from the sliver of our moon to planets and galaxies and star clusters and more!
