SUMMARY:Stockings for Soldiers Project 2016 ~ JoCo 4-H
DESCRIPTION:For the 7th year Josephine County 4-H will be collecting and shipping donated personal items to service men and women who are stationed overseas during the holiday season.  Our goal is 200 Stockings for Soldiers.\n\n\n\nCommunity help is requested and needed to cover stockings that will be filled with travel size items which can be carried in backpacks and funds to cover shipping costs.\n\nItems like:  aspirin\, body power\, disposable razors\, flavored water packets\, hot chocolate/coffee\, individual size snacks such as chips/Oreos/nuts\, instant oatmeal\, lotions\, sanitary wipes\, shampoo\, small stationery\, and other small easily carried\, non perishable items.\n\n\n\nIf you wold like to contribute by donating items\, or funds for shipping you may bring them to the OSU Extension Office during business hours Monday - Friday\,  9am to 4pm.\n\n\n\nAny additional questions call OSU Extension Office at (541) 476-6613\n\nThe deadline for collection is Monday\, November 28th to be shipped December 1st.\n\nGift Basket Giveaway Drawing ~ Fundraiser \n\n~ Local Items ~\n\n$5 Donation for entry closes Noon on December 3rd\n\nTicket Locations:\n\nSandi's Candies\n\n145 SW G Street\n\nGrants Pass\n\nFacebook.com/SandisCandies\n\n(541) 951-9112\n\n\n\nChamber Visitors Center\n\n1995 NW Vine St\n\n(Morgan Ln & 6th St)
