DESCRIPTION:Back by popular demand - Guest Artist Wendy Tanner will hold a second Swing Dance Workshop at SOU in the SU Diversions on Thursday\, November 10th.\n\n\n\nCome explore the joys of swing. You will learn iconic Lindy Hop line dance to find that cool Lindy pulse in solo jazz movement and then bring all that together into some partnersed Swing dancing patterns.\n\n\n\nAbout the artist Wendy Tanner: Dance saved my life! I've always been one to wiggle to a tune\, any tune\, and doing my solo jam has always brought me to a happy space. Sometimes\, finding that space becomes essential. In 2010\, I decided to get a second degree in Videography and Emerging Media & Digital Arts at SOU\, a degree vastly different than my first in Mechanical Engineering. I also decided to jump into all of Suzanne Seiber's dance classes\, which included Jazz\, Tap\, and Ballet. Those classes continue to shape and inform my partner dancing. Dance has held me up above the fray\, since and always!
