"The Skies Sing" celebrates love and the transformative power of music to refresh and inspire. Featured pieces include: Sainte Chapelle by Eric Whitacre Come to me in the silence of the night by Ivo Antongini Gloria from Cantata 191 by JS Bach Sure on the shining night by Morten Lauridsen Balancing these choral classics are newly composed works of Lucy Walker and Marques Garrett\; Shakespeare settings by Craig Kingsbury (with actors)\; Haitian folk music\; and fun commissioned arrangements of "April in Paris" and "It Don't Mean a Thing" (if it ain't got that swing)" by Jodi French.
