This is quite an honor.\n\n\n\nIt was originally a Veterans Memorial at Grants Pass High School to honor veterans. It was an area that had a plaque that was not very visible and a rose garden that was overgrown. Ellie saw this and wanted to clean it up and make it a place that continued to Honor Veterans. She approached the GP Dist 7 School Board which enthusiastically approved her project.
