DESCRIPTION:The 2014 Women?s Leadership Conference committee invites regional women to a Goal Setting Workshop on Wednesday\, November 13. The workshop\, scheduled for 8:00 am ? 3:00pm\, will be led by Barbara Tyler\, keynote speaker for the 2013 Women?s Leadership Conference. Do you dare to dream? This goal setting workshop will provide tools to reframe your thinking\, acknowledge your dreams\, and set specific\, measurable goals. By giving voice to your dreams\, the workshop helps you overcome fear and/or guilt and learn to trust yourself. Graduating students and young professionals will benefit immensely from Barbara?s hands on\, take-charge-of-your-life approach\; also wonderful for mid-career women seeking a significant change. The all-day workshop is no cost to participants thanks to the generous support of conference sponsors. The first annual Women?s Leadership Conference was held in March 2013. More than 200 people attended the conference\, and registration sold out within one week. The conference sprung from a desire to among regional women leaders to encourage other women to step into leadership positions at work and in the community. The conference brought together women from all points of their careers ? those just entering\, well-established or finishing their careers.
