October 21st—Construction Apprenticeship Program Day
9:00 am—10:30 am
The session will focus on registered apprenticeships. We will start with an group meeting to introduce the participating Trades Apprenticeship programs. They will provide an overview of their programs. Afterwards we will split into breakout rooms where you can learn more about each individual apprenticeship program. When the breakout rooms are complete, we will rejoin and learn about the Rogue Valley Trades Training Center program, a pre-apprenticeship program designed to give you the initial training and tools to pursue a career in the trades and entry into a registered apprenticeship program.

9:00—9:30 am What is Apprenticeship and why should I be interested? Have you heard of apprenticeship, but aren’t quite certain what it is? At this session, hear from apprenticeship coordinators in the construction trades.
9:30—10:00 am Breakout sessions with Apprenticeship coordinators.—How to Apply. They will discuss details of their training program, how to apply, and tips for a successful application.
10:00—10:15 am— Introduction to the Rogue Valley Trades Training Center program, Resources, and Wrap Up. Learn more about the training program, what are the benefits of the program and how to apply. We will offer some additional resources about the trades and job searching.
