Art Class: Creating Nature's Textures with Watermedia
Texture makes your paintings feel more dynamic, creates a sense of depth, and helps viewers emotionally connect with your work!
Join local artists Pam Haunschild & Jenifer Eufusia on Saturday May 11 from 10am-4pm at the Guild Gallery & Art Center in Kerby, as they help you create interesting textured watermedia backgrounds to turn into harmonious, successfully finished paintings. You can work in the watermedia of your choice (acrylic, watercolor, acrylic ink, or gouache). We will create exciting textures using texturing mediums along with some ordinary household materials (all texturing materials are provided).
This class is appropriate for anyone – beginners will have no trouble with the methods used and more advanced painters will be able to add complex texturing processes to their repertoire!
