SISKIYOU AUDUBON SOCIETY?S FREE PROGRAM Thursday, April 10, 2014 - Meeting starts at 6:30 pm Room #611 (in the cafeteria) at Grants Pass High School 830 NE 9th Street, Grants Pass Lee Webb and Fran Taylor present: Birds & Their Habitats in Josephine County What habitat do you live in? Which birds are found there? Find out as Siskiyou Audubon Society members Lee Webb and Dennis Vroman show you with photos, handouts and the answers to your questions. Lee holds a B.S. degree in Wildlife Biology from the University of Massachusetts and a M.S. in Wildlife Management from West Virginia University. He served 29 years as Forest Wildlife Biologist for the Siskiyou National Forest, and is a founding member of Siskiyou Audubon Society. Dennis served 25 years in the U.S. Forest Service. He was a licensed bird bander for more than 20 years. He is a past-President and still member of the Western Bird Banding Association and of Siskiyou Audubon Society. He belongs to the Oregon Birding Association (formerly Oregon Field Ornithologists), and conducted two U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Breeding Bird Survey routes.
