Christmas Lights on the Midway
‘CHRISTMAS ON THE MIDWAY’
DRIVE THRU LIGHT DISPLAY
Josephine County Fairgrounds is pleased to announce a drive thru light display called ‘Christmas on the Midway’ starting December 5th at 5:00pm that will run through the month’s end every night from 5pm -10pm. Buildings down the Midway have been sponsored by businesses and individuals to showcase their creative light displays to spread Holiday Cheer to the community.
This Saturday, December 5th from 6pm -10pm the free drive thru event will also feature a live manager scene and each Saturday Santa Claus to waive to and bring smiles to the children’s faces. Make sure the kids bring their letters to Santa and drop off in Santa’s mailbox!
Driving directions: Once inside the Fairground’s main gates, drive straight down the midway enjoying the lights, at the far end of the lawn you’ll take a left through the gate between the covered arena and barn, at the end of the covered arena you’ve reached the end of the display, you’ll turn left again and head back to the front gate.
Creative teams from the Fairgrounds, Grants Pass Rotary, Community volunteers, AllCare, Evergreen Federal, Redi Ride, Baskin Robbins, SOS Sanitation and Grants Pass Downs have come together to kick off this new Holiday Tradition. It is the hope of everyone to use this year as a spring board to grow this into an annual event that will grow every year.
