Community Death Care Workshop
The Southern Oregon Living and Dying Alliance (SOLADA) is offering a four-part educational series of Community Death Care Workshops every month in Grants Pass, Williams and Ashland starting in January.
These workshops will provide practical information and open conversation about end-of-life planning, caregiving, dying, and aftercare in a community-centered setting.
PIES AND PLANNING (Workshop #1 of 4)
- Saturday, January 24th Peace House in Ashland 1:00-4:00pm
- Sunday, January 25th Center for Spiritual Living in Grants Pass 1:30-4:30pm
- Saturday, January 31th Pacifica in Williams 1:00-4:00pm
The interactive workshop portion will feature break-out groups and interactive activity sessions, allowing participants to explore care planning scenarios, discuss personal values, and collaborate on strategies for effective planning. These activities are designed to make learning fun and memorable while fostering meaningful conversations. The event will conclude with a summary of key takeaways, a list of resources for further support, and an open Q&A session. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of advanced care planning in Oregon and practical tools to continue their planning journey.
