Dealing with Marijuana in the Workplace,''Managing the Impact - Employer Considerations
In 2015, the use of recreational marijuana became authorized in Oregon.  As a result, employers face new challenges and conflicting pressures on how to deal with marijuana use and its effect on the workplace.  How an employer should respond to the challenges of changing marijuana laws will depend on the workplace culture, safety concerns, customer base, and other factors.  Please join Sean Ray, an employment law attorney with Barran Liebman LLP, as he presents a seminar on what is legally required, what is legally permissible, and what drug testing is able to show about actual marijuana impairment.
