Enlightened Living Faire

60th Enlightened Living Faire Shines Spotlight on Soaring Self-Care Trend More people than ever are focusing on self-care to maintain peace, sanity, and good health. Many in our area have made the bi-annual Enlightened Living Faire (whimsically shortened to “The ELF” by its purveyors) a part of their self-care routine. On the brink of its 19th year, its upcoming 60th event takes place March 8 at the Josephine County Fairgrounds. It is Southern Oregon’s longest-running event of its kind in the new millennia, offering diverse modalities, tools, and more to help people along their personal growth journey. Self-Care Has Gone Viral In the United States, Google searches for “self-care” have quadrupled over the past five years, indicating a massive and rapid upturn in interest in this topic. In fact, it peaked in November and December of last year. A 2024 survey performed by YouGov found that 32% of respondents reported engaging in practicing self-care daily, and an additional 43% said they do it at least once a week. That explains why the ELF has become such a popular event.
The ELF Is a Self-Care Community Local hypnotherapist Andrea Kremko first founded The ELF in 2006 with a vision of bringing together like-minded people to form a supportive community around wellness, healing, and spirituality. Nearly two decades later, her vision has unfurled with wonder and surpassed her expectations of providing a place to connect. This respected healing arts professional has established an impressive community of practitioners, readers, artisans, and the folks who love them. “It’s been extremely satisfying and inspiring to see this ongoing shift in how we love and care for ourselves drive more Southern Oregonians to the ELF in recent years,” Kremko explains. “Although the shutdowns of 2020 took us off the map temporarily, I’m thrilled that the event continues to unite longtime ELF exhibitors and patrons with so many fresh faces in such a big and friendly way.” March 8th is the Big Day Enlightened Living Faire offers a fun-filled day of exploration, connection, acceptance, growth, and invigorating experiences. Dozens of exhibitors offer their holistic goods and services under the event’s theme – from healing arts practitioners to psychic mediums, astrologers, tarot readers, bodyworkers, aromatherapists, local artisans and makers, and beyond. Additionally, included for free with admission are helpful and informative workshops held every hour on the hour, beginning at 11 AM.
Don’t miss your chance to explore, experience, and enjoy this uplifting event! It has something for everyone. You’ll find it in Josephine County Fairgrounds’ Pavilion Building on March 8, 2025, from 10 AM to 5 PM.
