• The newly elected County Treasurer resigned after less than six months in office, despite unseating a long-time incumbent.
• A County Commissioner is repeatedly absent from business meetings, while still receiving a six-figure taxpayer-funded salary.
• Public records requests go unanswered—even after the required fees are paid.
• The Library District continues to operate without a lease. Negotiations between the library and Commissioner Barnett continue. But nothing has been voted on by the whole BCC yet or signed, so the hope for a viable lease needs action.
