Keeping Honey Bees
Keeping Honey Bees Course Meets for 3 consecutive Saturday Mornings Online beginning July 11th, 2020.
This course begins with ethics of beekeeping and life of a beehive.
Our second class prepares the learner to get equipped for bees by choosing a location, getting equipment and hiving bees.
The final class for this season is about managing a colony of bees.
Text book: Storey's Guide to Keeping Honey Bees 2nd Edition is required. Text can be purchased from Amazon for approximately $15.
The class will meet three Saturdays, July 11, 18 and 25, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. online using a Zoom virtual classroom.
