The Dell?Arte Company has refashioned the tale of Little Red Riding Hood as we know it, reaching back into the roots of the story first published by Charles Perrault in the 17th century and versions told orally throughout many different countries and cultures from Asia to Africa. The international ensemble has pulled inspiration from the many variations of the tale to create an original story with a message of hope where a tenacious, bright eyed child teaches an entire town that ?no matter where you come from, we are all the same?. From Bluegrass to Balkan, this talented cast of performers has also adapted an eclectic selection of multicultural music and song to accompany the story of "Li?l Red in the Redwoods," making for a truly unique theatrical experience.
