Oregon Caves Community Day & Food Drive
Community Appreciation Day and Food Drive at the Oregon Caves!
Free Cave tours and so much more!
We will be giving back to our wonderful supportive community of Southern Oregon with FREE first come first served cave tours all day!
Please bring a suggested donation of a non-perishable food item to be donated to the Doug Hoskins Resource Center.
Activities throughout the day will include:
The Cave Crawler Bounce House
Watershed activities led by The Siskiyou Field Institute
Stones and Bones Touch Table
Animal Track castings
Native and Pioneer Games in the Chateau
Tour of the Historic District
For their safety, children must be at least 42 inches (107 cm) tall to take a tour.
Please be aware that the cave tour is physically demanding. It requires the ability to walk and stoop through narrow, twisting passages, including an 88-foot (27m) passageway with ceilings as low as 45 inches (114 cm), and the ability to ascend and descend over 500 steps, many of them steep, uneven and/or without handrails.
DO NOT wear or bring clothes, shoes or other items used in a cave, mine, or other bat habitat. Spores carried on personal items spread white-nose syndrome, a deadly disease that kills bats.
