Perform to Singin' in the Rain at First Friday!

The September First Friday theme is "Thank you Firefighters." As part of that theme, we will be doing a community dance performance to the song Singing' in the Rain! Hopefully this community spirit will help bring some rain to our valley 😉

YOU are invited to participate! All ages are welcome :)

1ST PRACTICE: There will be a practice to learn the choreography at Candela Dance Studio on Thursday, Sept. 6, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

2ND PRACTICE: We will meet again at Candela Dance Studio on Friday, Sept. 7, from 5 to 5:30 p.m. to review the choreography. 

** You MUST attend both practices in order to perform **

CHOREOGRAPHY: Participants will learn a very simple and repetitive choreography that we will perform downtown during the First Friday festivities. 

BRING AN UMBRELLA: Please bring an umbrella to the practices; we will be using them as props! The best umbrellas for this dance are the kind with the hook handles. 

COST: This is a FREE community event!

PRACTICE LOCATION: Both practices will be at Candela Dance Studio, 202 N. Redwood Highway, Grants Pass (same space as Spurlock Art & Wine next to Duo Gym)

PERFORMANCE LOCATION: We will perform this on Fifth Street between G and H streets (Fifth Street will be shut down)

PERFORMANCE TIME: Stay tuned... the performance will be sometime around 7 or 7:30 p.m....
