Poetry Alive
Do you know a line break when you see one? Thesaurus, friend or foe? Choosing the best word makes all the difference, and marrying theme to image are aspects of revising a poem that turn our drafts into polished gems.
Participants will employ the techniques of revision and share information regarding submissions, highlighting how the submission process can be an inspiration to create poems.
Workin' It Out: Revision & Submission is the second in a series of 4 quarterly poetry workshops sponsored by OPA (Oregon Poetry Association) and the Applegate Poets.
All workshops will be held in the Ben Bones Room at the Grants Pass branch of Josephine Community Library District. For more information, contact president of the Oregon Poetry Association.
