Positive Approach to Alzheimer's & Dementia Care Class

On Friday, June 9th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Oregon Care Partners will host a free, instructor-led class about the Positive Approach to Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care.

This class is designed to help anyone caring for a person living with dementia gain the knowledge and skills to effectively respond to dementia-related behaviors and improve the quality of life of the person in their care. A dementia care expert will help you feel confident and prepared to provide support and care at home or in a long-term care setting.

WHAT: A FREE CLASS for caregivers about the Positive Approach to Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care (PAC). This class is designed to help anyone caring for a person living with dementia learn more about how to provide support and respond effectively to dementia-related behaviors. A Positive Approach to Care® certified instructor will share real-world experience in an interactive classroom environment and answer your important questions.

WHO: This class is available at no cost to anyone living or working in Oregon. Free classes from Oregon Care Partners can benefit anyone providing support and care for an older adult or person living with dementia, including family members, care professionals, support workers, volunteers, and public safety workers.
