Rogue River Clean Up~29th Annual
*Social distancing guidelines will be in place, and masks will be required during the check-in process. Volunteers will be spread out among 16 sections along the Wild & Scenic Rogue River to keep group numbers down. Please help us keep our community safe while helping our river!*
Join us for a trash clean-up and/or invasive species weed pull! For nearly 30 years, this event has led to the removal of trash and invasive weeds from the Rogue River within the Wild & Scenic section. Pick up trash at any of the county parks between Whitehorse County Park and the Grave Creek boat ramp.
Check-in begins at Whitehorse County Park at 8:30 AM. Volunteers will be provided with gloves, bags, safety vests (for the road clean-up crew), a temporary parking pass, and other necessary information. For the weed pull, the Josephine County CWMA will provide tools (if applicable).
Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own trash pickers if they have them, as they will not be provided.
The event will officially begin at 9:00 AM and end at 12:00 PM. Volunteers will need to return their equipment to Whitehorse County Park, as well as pick up their event t-shirt, a possible prize from our raffle, and a to-go lunch from a local food vendor.
Volunteers: Please dress for the weather and wear clothing that you don't mind getting dirty!
