Rogue River Revenge Haunted House Returns to Josephine County Fairgrounds

Grants Pass, Ore. ? Halloween season is underway at the Josephine County Fairgrounds, where the Rogue River Revenge Haunted House is once again bringing eerie thrills and dark adventure to Southern Oregon.

Organized by Rockin Rentals and community volunteers, the annual haunted attraction has become one of the county?s most popular fall events. This year?s theme, ?Rogue River Revenge,? draws inspiration from a haunting local legend of a restless spirit that lurks along the Rogue River, seeking vengeance for past wrongs.

Guests entering the haunted maze encounter fog-shrouded pathways, abandoned river cabins, and water-themed scenes that build suspense with sound, light, and motion effects. The production features new animatronics, immersive soundscapes, and live actors performing throughout the darkened corridors.

This year?s event includes upgraded safety measures and enhanced visual design to accommodate growing attendance at the fairgrounds. Concession stands and local vendors are available for visitors, and part of the proceeds support community youth programs and future fairgrounds improvements.

The haunted house operates Friday through Sunday nights in October from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., with earlier hours offered on designated family-friendly nights. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or online through the Josephine County Fairgrounds website, with group and family discounts available.

Rogue River Revenge Haunted House runs through October 31, continuing a local Halloween tradition that celebrates creativity, teamwork, and the thrill of a good scare.
