YPN Professional Development *In-Person

Please join our Young Professionals for Professional Development at Hampton Inn & Suites on Tuesday, February 15th, 9:00am-10:30am.

We are pleased to have Joe Spagnualo, assisted by Tyler Worthley of Rogue Valley Worksource-Learn how to utilize their system to find job and employees.

Joe has worked for WorkSource for 6 and ½ years. Initially he started in the Business Service position before being approached by the board for a pilot position for a local communications liaison. That opportunity has evolved into his current opportunity as a Public Affairs Specialist serving the Rogue Valley.  In addition to this work, he is also the Business Team Coordinator for WorkSource Rogue Valley, acting as a resource and providing guidance to our Regional Business Team.

He says "I was a bit of a job hopper in my early days. While some consider this a fault, it gave me experience and perspective that have served me well in my current job working with both job seekers and employers. It gave me the empathy and ability to ?speak the language? with my targeted audience." 

In the latter years of his employment, he had the good fortune to learn marketing and social media. From the start at a local hotel, to a small local winery, he worked his way up to managing Facebook, Google+, Twitter, & YouTube platforms for over 100 locations for a national Fortune 500 Company, as well as contributing to many other communications projects.  With that, he is able to leverage all of these experiences in his current roles to Support Business and Promote Employment.

The Young Professionals Network is for young professionals in the target age range of 21-45 who are looking for networking opportunities with other young professionals, connections to the community and business leaders, community engagement, and professional development. The network holds monthly luncheons, quarterly socials, and community service projects.
