Temporary Employee for Fleet Services Division

Job duties for this position:
- Transport vehicles between remote locations and fleet buildings
- Order and retrieve supplies from vendors
- Assist with general shop tasks, such as cleaning, organizing and assisting with paperwork.
- May be responsible for fueling and washing vehicles
- Other duties as assigned
Hourly rate of pay is $21.85 per hour.
This is a limited duration position, not to exceed 600 hours, hours can be variable but will occur between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This position does not provide health insurance benefits.
Minimum Qualifications:
Training and Experience:
- Prior experience with mechanical repair is helpful but not required.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Oregon Class C Driver's License with driving record that complies with City policy
- 18 years of age or older at time of hire
- Education sufficient to read and write to perform inventory duties
- Oregon Law Enforcement Data Systems (LEDS) Certification within 30 days of appointment
