Temporary Employee for Fleet Services Division

Job duties for this position:

• Transport vehicles between remote locations and fleet buildings
• Order and retrieve supplies from vendors
• Assist with general shop tasks, such as cleaning, organizing and assisting with paperwork.   
• May be responsible for fueling and washing vehicles
• Other duties as assigned

 
Hourly rate of pay is $21.85 per hour.

This is a limited duration position, not to exceed 600 hours, hours can be variable but will occur between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.  This position does not provide health insurance benefits. 
 
Minimum Qualifications:
Training and Experience:

• Prior experience with mechanical repair is helpful but not required.

 
Required Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid Oregon Class C Driver's License with driving record that complies with City policy
• 18 years of age or older at time of hire
• Education sufficient to read and write to perform inventory duties
• Oregon Law Enforcement Data Systems (LEDS) Certification within 30 days of appointment
