Youth Outreach & Education Assistant (Part-Time)
Pregnancy Care Center (PCC) is seeking a part-time Youth Outreach & Education Assistant to support our school-based outreach and abstinence-encouragement program throughout Josephine and Jackson Counties.
This position works alongside our Outreach Coordinator to build relationships with local schools and present engaging educational programs to middle and high school students. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys working with youth, is comfortable speaking in front of groups, and is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of teens.
Position Details
- Part-time, 24 hours per week
- Monday through Thursday
- Based in Grants Pass with travel throughout Josephine and Jackson Counties
Responsibilities
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating school presentations
- Present educational content to middle and high school students
- Support outreach efforts with schools and community partners
- Help maintain program materials and records
- Represent PCC professionally within the community
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal communication, writing, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable with public speaking and classroom presentations
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Josephine and Jackson Counties
- Alignment with PCC's Christian mission, statement of faith, and organizational values
