About Us

Elect Mark Jones is the campaign promoting Mark Jones for Josephine County Commissioner. I am running for position 2 which is currently held by Dan DeYoung. I am a retired Fireman and currently the Vice Chairman of the Josephine Housing and Community Development Council, a Commissioner on the Josephine County Rural Planning Commission serving as Vice Chair, a Foundation Director for the Grants Pass Rotary Club, a member of the Merlin Community Park Board, and a member of a citizen group working to improve the fire service delivery in Josephine County.

I have been involved in this county's government for over two years now. My attendance at the Commissioner's Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday meetings and workshops has taught me the inner working of Josephine County as well as many concerns the citizens have about our county and the many different communities. I am ready to hit the ground running on day one.

We need to stop electing individuals who pretend to care but actually prioritize their own interests! They promote lack of trust, partisanship, lack of transparency, and ineffective governance. Their dishonesty, corruption, and broken promises display their personal interests over the well-being of Josephine County. Vote for me and I will do everything possible to make changes that matter to you!
