About Us
The Children’s Advocacy Center of Josephine County provides a safe, child-focused setting for children when there are concerns of abuse or neglect. Our goal is to reduce trauma, support healing, and ensure a coordinated response for every child and family we serve.
We bring together a multidisciplinary team of law enforcement, child welfare, medical providers, prosecutors, and mental health professionals to respond to child abuse in a compassionate and effective way. By conducting forensic interviews and medical evaluations in one location, we reduce the number of times a child must share their story.
Our services include forensic interviews, specialized medical evaluations, family advocacy, and referrals for mental health treatment. We support children and caregivers throughout the process and connect families to the resources they need.
As the first Children’s Advocacy Center established in Oregon, we are proud to serve Josephine County and surrounding rural communities. Our center is designed to be warm, welcoming, and trauma informed so children feel safe and supported.
We are committed to promoting justice, healing, and hope for children and families through collaboration and community partnership.
