Pacific Power's Grants Pass-area residential customers are invited to a free workshop to get on the path to greater energy efficiency and lower electric bills. The event will be held Wednesday, Sept. 16, 6 p.m. to 7: 30 p.m., at Taprock Event Center - Fir/Cedar Room, 940 Southeast 7th Street, in Grants Pass. At the workshop, hosted by Pacific Power and Energy Trust of Oregon, customers will:
Hear about Pacific Power's wattsmart® program and no-cost/low- cost ways to save energy.
Learn about the different types of heating and cooling equipment, which are the most energy efficient and why.
See a demonstration of a water heater and its components, and learn how a leaky water heater can be a costly energy waste.
Discover the difference between incandescent, CFL and LED lighting and which is most cost- effective while saving you the most money; ? Learn more about Energy Trust incentives available for residential energy improvements. Refreshments will be served. Seating is limited and pre-registration is required.
