The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires employers to go through an interactive process to identify reasonable accommodations for employees with disabilities. However, job-related issues related to mental health raises some of the trickiest problems with ADA compliance.

- At what point does an employee absence for a mental health day require you to engage in an interactive process with an employee?
- Should these absences be classified as protected leave under state and federal medical leave laws?
Barran Liebman attorney, Sean Ray, will present on the intersection of mental health, the ADA and leave laws. Employers will walk away with a better understanding of what they must to do comply with their legal obligations as well as tools and tips to avoid common pitfalls and traps for the unwary.
